Food for thought...

Chocolate to Pets

No. It's considered to be poisonous to dogs, cats and other pets and can even be lethal. Best to stick with doggie treats. They're safer.

Caffeine in Chocolate

There is less caffeine in chocolate than in a cup of coffee. However, people who are avoiding caffeine should unfortunately stay away from chocolate as well. There is  about 30 mg of caffeine in an average chocolate bar. A cup of coffee contains about 100-500 mg. If in doubt, always ask your doctor.

Storing Chocolate

Best kept at around 68-72 degrees and has a shelf life of about a year. Hmm...a year? Not around here... Freezing chocolate is not a good idea. When you freeze it, then thaw, it has a tendency to "bloom" (white, filmy residue). This occurs when the cocoa butter in the chocolate separates from the cocoa solids.
